Blankinship & Foster, LLC is an SEC Registered Investment Adviser. As an independent, fee-only adviser, we provide financial planning and investment advisory services for families, professionals, small businesses, retirement funds, and institutions. What we do for you is fully disclosed in writing before there is any obligation on your part. When the decision is made to engage our services, a document will be prepared that fully delineates the scope of the work to be done, the issues that will and will not be addressed, the agreed upon fee for the work, and the time estimated to complete the work.
As fiduciaries, Blankinship & Foster will fully disclose all conflicts of interest so that you can make an educated and fully informed decision about our services.
OUR COMPENSATION
Our firm provides objective financial advice on a “fee-only” basis, keeping only the best interests of our clients in mind. Blankinship & Foster never accepts compensation contingent on the purchase or sale of a financial product. We are compensated only by fees received from our clients.
Federal and state law requires that Registered Investment Advisers be held to a Fiduciary Standard. This law requires that an advisor act solely in the best interest of the client, even if that interest is in conflict with the advisor’s financial interest. Investment Advisers must disclose any conflict, or potential conflict, to the client prior to and throughout a business engagement. Registered Investment Advisors must adopt a Code of Ethics and fully disclose how they are compensated.
