Stefan Prvanov, CFP ®, President/CEO, has been helping clients to enhance their personal financial affairs since 1994 through attention to, and integration of, their financial planning and investment management.
As President and CEO, Stefan is responsible for managing all aspects of the firm, in addition to his client relationship responsibilities. He is an equity owner and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Earlier, he was responsible for the Financial Planning Department of the firm.
Before joining the firm, Stefan worked for a similar financial advisory firm in McLean, Virginia. While there, he provided comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management advice to high net worth individuals and served on that firm’s investment committee.
Stefan is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) since March 2004. He chaired the San Diego NAPFA Study Group in 2005-2007 and served as Board member of the West Region Board of NAPFA from 2005-2008. He currently serves on the Gift Planning Advisor’s Council for the San Diego YMCA, the KPBS Planned Giving Advisory Committee, and the United Way of San Diego Major Giving Committee. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association; the La Jolla Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section; and the Planned Giving Round Table of San Diego. He has been listed as one of the best 150 financial advisers in the country by Medical Economics Magazine.
Stefan earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance in 1989 from San Diego State University. He is licensed to use the Certified Financial Planner and CFP marks by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
